ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions put their best interior defensive lineman, Alim McNeill, on injured reserve with a knee injury and signed cornerback Kindle Vildor off the practice squad.Detroit also added Tyson Alualu and Matt Farniok to the practice squad and released linebacker Raymond Johnson from it.The NFC North-leading Lions (9-3) made the moves Tuesday, two days after McNeill was injured in a win at New Orleans. Detroit will play at Chicago (4-8) on Sunday.McNeill made 31 tackles and six were for losses, including a career-high five sacks. He also a forced fumble and defended a pass. McNeill has started 35 games over three years with the Lions. Vildor played in two games earlier this season with Tennessee. The city is seeking helping hands to make sure migrants in city housing are treated properly, especially during the holidays.For that purpose, the city is hosting a job fair on Friday at the Wellington Webb Municipal Building, 201 W. Colfax Ave. There are 150 positions the city hopes to fill with bilingual Spanish speakers, paying between $25-32 per hour. How you can help migrants in Denver Hired individuals will work at the shelters to greet migrants, help them check in to the shelter, connect them with housing, serve meals, explain rules and distribute supplies, sanitize the shelter and help migrants integrate with the Denver community. An investigation got underway in Brockton Tuesday after a shooting sent a man to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.A Brockton police spokesperson in a statement said the shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Lexington Street and Green Street. SAN DIEGO -- A man suspected of threatening to commit a mass shooting Friday at Shoal Creek Elementary School in Carmel Mountain Ranch was arrested, authorities said.Police found and apprehended Lee Lor, 38, after the threat was communicated to a third party, Lt. Toronto police have released a photo of a vulnerable person in hopes of helping to identify him.Officers first interacted with the man on Monday, December 4, at around 12:15 a.m. in the Queen Street East and Knox Avenue area.“The man was unable to identify himself,” a release states.He’s described as 25 years old, five foot seven with a thin build and brown hair.He was wearing a Toronto Maple Leaf jersey, black pants and running shoes.“Investigators are looking to identify this male to put the minds at ease of any concerned family or friends,” police said.Latest news
