Denver weather: Cooling temps with afternoon rainshowers, possible snow overnight Sunny skies gradually will turn cloudy bringing cool temperatures and rain showers Wednesday afternoon, possibly turning to light snow around sunset, according to the National Weather Service.The high temperature in metro Denver will be 58 degrees, weather service forecasters said. Breezes were expected to intensify Wednesday afternoon with wind blowing at speeds up to 20 miles per hour and gusts as fast as 31 mph. Teen dead, 3 others injured after stabbing suspect plows into students in Thousand Oaks A 15-year-old boy died and three other teens were injured when a suspect fleeing the scene of a stabbing crashed into a crowd of students on the sidewalk near Westlake High School Tuesday, authorities said.  The incident unfolded at around 2:48 p.m. when officers with the Simi Valley Police Department responded to a Walmart, located at 255 West Cochran St., on reports of a customer stabbing a store employee.  “The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but witnesses provided information about the suspect’s vehicle, a white Toyota Camry missing the front bumper, along with the license plate number,” a news release from Simi Valley PD stated.  The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.  As Simi Valley police were investigating the stabbing, Ventura County deputies responded to reports of an “injury collision” at around 3:40 p.m. near the intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Lakeview Canyon Road involving the stabbing suspect’s vehi...

On Jan. 11, a deputy responded to a reported trespasser at the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall.When she arrived, the man, who appears to be homeless, acted aggressively, pushing and striking the deputy when she tells him to back away from her, the video shows.The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released body-cam footage from a fatal shooting on Jan. 11, 2023.After the deputy warned multiple times that she would open fire, the man, later identified as 50-year-old Christopher Lee Mercurio, tells her to shoot and appears to charge again, prompting two gunshots. 10-year-old dies following Merced trampoline park fight Authorities are investigating the death of a 10-year-old boy following a fight at a Merced trampoline center, KTLA sister station KSEE/KGPE reports.According to the Merced Police Department, the fight took place at the Rockin’ Jump, located at 1230 W. Main Street in Merced.When reports first came out about the incident on Thursday, April 13, officials said a boy was in critical condition after passing out while he was at a trampoline center. Witnesses say the child was with other children inside the trampoline center when he experienced a severe medical issue, according to the authorities.Officers say they and first responders performed CPR and the boy was transported to a regional trauma center where the boy was said to be in critical condition. The Merced Police Department then announced on Monday that he had passed away.Once the investigation began, it was revealed there was an altercation that led to the child's death.
